Reviews
The office leasing employees I've interacted with are fine, but they give off more of a sales rep vibe that must hit their quota than actual community management, but this review is NOT about them. Everyone I've interacted with in-person has been professional.
When we moved out, our entire deposit was eaten up, nickel and diming us for everything, even charged us $150 because the doorframe had paint peeling from from a 3 inch by 10 inch space, claiming that it had to be replaced rather than simply being repainted. They also tried to charge us for several "services" AFTER we stopped living there including garbage, pest, and a renters liability fee and it was a hassle getting those removed. RPM Living (the corporation that owns the propery) demanded money from us before even providing an MoS and photos, and since their "Former Resident Team" is a completely different entity, there's a diffusion of responsibility. The FRS team took nearly a month to respond to our inquiries. I assume it's common practice to make sure former tenants don't get any of their money back. Oh, there's a little scuff on the wall no greater than 1 sq inch? Boom, that's $50.
It's an okay area but the apartments themselves are at least 50 years old. Smoking is also allowed anywhere, so we regularly had cigarette butts on our porch because our upstairs neighbors were heavy smokers. Mold and insects/roaches are a problem. Overall, this is probably a more ideal place if you're in your 20's.
RPM Living is a sketchy company and has an F rating by the Better Business Bureau. After this experience, I have a bad taste in my mouth regarding this company.
Dont even live here
A friend of mine does
This is the worst apartment complex to have to park in
They are the worlds most complicated visitor parking set up which requires registering your car on an app EVERYTIME you are there
Along with personal information
My car was from the actual resident
Along with that there are only about 8 visitor spots so you (most of the time) have to park on the street
I know for a FACT. Multiple cars have been broken into and stolen. My car was towed yesterday due to poor communication and ZERO visual aids informing on the rules.
I will be further contacting the office with my case.
I absolutely love it here! The staff is so amazing and welcoming. If you’re moving to Austin, this place is the place to be! It’s close to downtown and is right by Zilker Park. My stay here has been amazing and would fully recommend living here.
Great Location for unbeatable price! Very close to walking trails, convenience stores and 10 min from downtown. The resort style pool is a huge plus. Ideal place for dog lovers!
Coming from SW Michigan, I feel right at home. 😊
Just made the move to Skyline at Barton Creek and I couldn’t be happier! The staff here has been incredibly attentive and caring, making settling in a breeze. If you’re on the lookout for a top-notch rental that truly feels like home, look no further – this is the place to be!
Amazing apartment community located in the heart of Austin, TX! The leasing agents were all so kind and accommodating, definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to call home in the Austin area.
Major maintenance issues & delays. Maintenance team is very nice but property management does not invest in keeping up the property nor support their residents well when issues arise. My balcony safety issues/ decay (and others) had been reported numerous times and after a year it was still not fixed.
Devin and the whole team made it a seamless transition. It was a wonderful experience on every level. We love the location, the apartment, and all the staff. Very prompt responses with exceptional service. They were all very welcoming from the moment we got there. Looking forward to being part of this wonderful community.
